A three-course dinner in our beautiful Modernism West Gallery space featuring a screening of the award-winning documentary The Ghost Army and a presentation of Remembered Light: The McDonald Peace Project. (Read on to discover the intriguing connection between the two projects.) Post-film discussion with Rick Beyer, Ghost Army filmmaker and author.
The Event:
6:00 - 6:45 p.m. Cocktail reception and book signing (complimentary beer & wine/cash bar)
6:45 - 7:00 p.m. Introduction by event hosts: Interfaith Center at the Presidio and the McDonald Peace Project. (Featuring a video with Fred McDonald)
7:00 - 7:15 p.m. Introduction and presentation by Rick Beyer
7:15 - 8:30 p.m. Dinner and screening of The Ghost Army
8:30 - 9:00 p.m. Q&A
Net proceeds will benefit The Ghost Army Legacy Project and the McDonald Peace Project.
Each guest will receive a complimentary copy of the book The Ghost Army of World War II and the Remembered Light exhibit catalog.
