4th Platoon, Company D

This was the first group of Ghost Army deceivers to go to work in Normandy. They arrived eight days after D-Day.  Irving Stempel (center) and Victor Dowd (behind him, with his tie tucked in) were both interviewed for the film, and both died in the spring of 2010.
